1901 PROJECT
In 2026, the group undertook a project to look at life in the village in 1901.
Each club member picked a topic of interest, something that caught their eye whilst trawling through newspaper for 1901, or something that was of particular interest to them.
In addition the group undertook to transcribe the 1901 census returns for the Villages of Luddenden and Midgley and for Luddenden Dean.
